The Cool Guard 360 mobile application is a comprehensive K9 safety monitoring solution designed to protect service K9s from dangerous temperature conditions while in the vehicle. The system combines in-vehicle hardware, cloud connectivity, a web-based management portal, and companion mobile apps to deliver real-time environmental monitoring and alerting.

How it Works

The Cool Guard 360 is installed in the vehicle and monitors temperature (via two probes), humidity, K9 cage door status, ignition status, and battery voltage. This data is transmitted in real time via cellular connectivity to the cloud, making it instantly accessible through the website and mobile apps.

Alerting System

When conditions reach critical thresholds, high temperature, low temperature, low battery, or probe faults, the system sends alerts via email, text, and/or push notifications to the handler, their designated contacts, and all department dispatchers.

Three Primary User Types

Department Admins

Manage the department account, handlers, dispatchers, subscriptions, and view reports and monitoring data for all handlers.

Handlers

Individual K9 officers who monitor their own K9 environment, manage alert contacts, and configure notification preferences.

Dispatchers

Automatically receive alerts for all handlers in the department for centralized monitoring.
