This system optimizes the vehicle’s rear air conditioning vents, originally located under the front seats, by redirecting airflow directly into the K9 compartment. This targeted airflow ensures that working dogs receive immediate and efficient cooling, especially after intense activity.

When a working dog begins to overheat, they often lay on the floor of the unit. While the vehicle is temperature-controlled through the factory HVAC system, the installed K9 insert blocks direct airflow from the factory vents. As a result, the K9 is exposed only to the ambient temperature of the vehicle. Our system solves this problem by directing airflow from the factory vents to the area where the dog is located, ensuring they receive the necessary ventilation to stay cool.
